Legal advice on major construction and infrastructure projects, public procurement and complex project contracts.
CAC has extensive experience in major construction and infrastructure projects, advising employers, project companies and contractors on the contractual, regulatory and public law aspects of project development and implementation. Our lawyers combine legal expertise with practical experience gained through direct involvement in large-scale energy, infrastructure and construction projects in Türkiye and internationally.
We advise clients throughout the lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects, from procurement and contract negotiation to project implementation, contract management, claims and completion. Our experience includes EPC and turnkey projects, FIDIC-based and bespoke contracts, local procurement arrangements, subcontracting and the allocation and management of contractual risks.
CAC also has significant experience in public procurement and public contracts. We advise bidders, contractors and investors on tender procedures, qualification requirements, tender documentation and challenges arising during procurement processes, as well as on the performance of contracts awarded by public authorities. Our public law expertise enables us to address both the contractual and administrative law dimensions of public procurement matters, including proceedings before administrative authorities and the administrative courts.
Members of our team were involved as legal counsel in the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project from its development through completion, gaining extensive experience in project agreements, construction contracts, procurement and the management of complex contractor relationships. Our lawyers have also advised on other major energy and infrastructure projects, including internationally financed projects and projects involving EPC and FIDIC-based contractual structures.
Where disputes arise, we assist clients with claim assessment, contract interpretation and dispute strategy and represent them in negotiations, litigation and arbitration. Our construction and infrastructure practice works closely with CAC’s dispute resolution and public law capabilities, allowing us to address disputes involving both complex contractual issues and regulatory or administrative law considerations.
